Auto Surf Websites

A somewhat good way to generate traffic to your website is through auto and manual surf sites.  Basically with auto-suft websites you let it run in the background.  Manual you have to do the work.

Lets start with Auto surf:

All you do is sign up, click manage website at the top and add the website you want traffic to.  Then you click auto surf and let it run.  By viewing websites you gain "credits" that allow your website to appear to others.

With manual surf websites you have to click and view websites to gain credits.  But with this method you are guaranteed to get people that will actually see your website as they (like you) will need to view it to gain credits.

Heres a good one

There is a website available for a specific category of people.  If you ahve ever created and now own an app on the app store and are struggling to promote it, then visit www.advertiseyourapp.vacau.com

All you need to do is use the contact form to submit your app with full description and picture and they will display it to the public on both the hompage (for a limited time) and in the category its best suited to.

Traffic for your site

Most people need lots of traffic for their website / blog to generate some sort of income.  And to be honest there arent a lot of placed that guarantee lots of instant visitors. 

You can spend your time looking on youtube for videos on how to do this but majority of them are a waste of time and they pretty much all say the same thing (except for the scam ones).

There are a few ways to get traffic and here they are.

• Twitter
• Facebook
• Linkedin
• Google+
• stumbleupon
• Backlinks
• Commenting on blogs
• indexing your site with google / yahoo / bing
• Meta tags.

Now the first 5 are social networking sites and are self explanitory.  You sign up, get followers and show them your website and hope they visit.

Backlinks is basically when there is a link to your website from another.  The more traffic that other website gets the more traffic you will likely get so try commenting on blogs that appear in the first page of google of your chose subject and leave a comment that valid but with your website linked in it.

Go to google, bing and yahoo and submit your website to them.  By doing this they will be indexed by the search engines for validity and then exposed for the public to see.  The more traffic you get to your site, the better its ranking and the close to page 1 it will appear.

Meta tags are basicall HTML code for tage relating to your chosen subject.  If you dont know how to input these then google it and you will get a much better explanation.
